Burial of Ashes

Following a cremation many people wish to have the ashes buried in a grave space, this allows family and friends somewhere to visit to remember their loved one and also provides  a location for the placing of a memorial stone or tablet to commemorate the deceased.

Cremated remains can be buried in both Eashing and Nightingale Cemeteries traditional burial areas as well as in the Natural Burial area in Eashing Cemetery. Eashing Cemetery also offers the option of the burial of ashes in the Garden of Remembrance.  Please click here for more information on the available options or see the Ashes Plot section of this website.

Scattering of Ashes

The Scattering of Ashes is not permitted within Eashing or Nightingale Cemeteries.
